Memories of April
Hello,
This is Staff K.
The cherry blossom season has passed, and fresh greenery is starting to appear. How have you been?
April brings a calm spring atmosphere to Asakusa. It is a season of new beginnings, with many people starting new jobs or schools. Guests can enjoy walking around the area while looking at the remaining blossoms or spending a quiet and relaxing time.
At our SAKE Bar, many guests have been enjoying Japanese sake and spending time in their own way. Some guests talk with each other, while others relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We are happy to see people from different countries connecting through sake and Japanese culture.
We also received kind comments such as, “I had a special time during my trip,” and “Sake feels more familiar now.” These words encourage us every day.
This month, we had a memorable guest from the United States. The guest likes Japan and tried to learn Japanese during the stay. He asked our staff about words and expressions. At the SAKE Bar, he said “Totemo Nihonnshu oishii desu, mata kokoni modottekimasu.” (“The sake is very good. I’d love to come back again.”) in Japanese when drinking sake. It was a simple but warm moment for us. (1 photo)
We felt happy to see their interest in Japanese culture through language and sake. Moments like this remind us of the value of meeting people from different countries.
As the season continues, we hope to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay for all our guests.
We look forward to welcoming you.
