Memories of April

Hello!
This is Staff H.
In April, the Easter holidays coincided with the cherry blossom season, and we were delighted to welcome many international guests to our hotel!

Just as the cherry blossoms reached their peak and everyone was ready for hanami (cherry blossom viewing), we unfortunately experienced about four consecutive days of rain.
However, the weather soon cleared up, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms once again.

Many of our guests visited Japan specifically to see the cherry blossoms.

Every day, they kindly shared their stunning photos of the blooms with us, and we truly felt the spirit of spring through their experiences!

We also had a wonderful moment in our lounge where a Japanese guest and a guest from the United States enjoyed Japanese sake together.

Although there was a language barrier, they communicated warmly and lively, creating a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere in the lounge.

The guest from the United States stayed with us for an extended period.
During the day, they explored Tokyo, and at night, they immersed themselves in the vibrant nightlife, enjoying music, drinks, and clubbing—making the most of their time in Japan.

In April, we also welcomed many families.
Meeting and hearing the cheerful laughter of many children made our hearts feel so warm and happy.

Looking ahead, in May, the historic Sanja Festival will be held!It will be our hotel’s second time participating as SAKE Bar Hotel ASAKUSA.
We’re especially excited to see the powerful and lively mikoshi (portable shrines) procession passing right in front of our hotel!

We look forward to welcoming many more guests in May!
