SAKE BRAND AFURI
Kikkawa Jozo's "Afuri" series. This is a new brand of sake that was created by using the underground stream from Mount Oyama (Afuri-yama) in Tanzawa as brewing water. The brewery uses hard water with a hardness of 150 to 160, which is rare in Japan, and continues to take on various challenges, such as a "no grinding" method for the raw rice, low-pulverization brewing process, and low-alcohol content.

BREWERY Kikkawa Jozo
Kikkawa Jozo is a long-established sake brewery founded in 1917. It has been over 100 years since it was built in Godo, Isehara City. From the rice washing to the brewing water, all the sake made here is made with high-quality hard water pumped from the strata of Mount Oyama in Tanzawa. Mount Oyama in Tanzawa has been known since ancient times as a place of rain worship and is also called Afuri-yama.

The interior allows guests to enjoy the world of sake in every detail, including the hotel's original masu cup lighting on the ceiling, sand artwork inspired by a gravel road, and large wooden vats used in sake brewing.
